It starts with the individual, and when our whole community participates, we can make a tangible, measurable difference in our local environment and address global warming. For starters, we can use energy more efficiently, buy "green products," use public transportation, do more recycling, and urge our public officials to enact legislation that supports these practices.

Sustainable Arlington is a town committee dedicated to helping citizens and businesses  reduce pollution to preserve the environment.
